“That was the last thing I needed.

I met up with Brian and we drove around Jackson, Michigan. He was driving my car and we’d just gotten gas and cigarettes. By this point, I wanted to throw up and I couldn’t figure out how to tell him. Finally, I said, “So, a funny thing happened today...turns out, I’m pregnant.”

“No,” he replied.

“Yes,” I said.

“No,” he said again.

“Yes,” I responded.

He said, “That’s out of control.”
