Let’s talk a little bit about coaches. Why do we need them?

Well, because there are people in the world who know better how to do what you want to do because they’ve already done or are doing it.

That’s it. Big mystery, right?

I have a personal trainer because he knows better than I do what is safe for me to do and try knowing my body’s unique limitations. I have a trauma therapist because she knows better than I do how to develop healthy coping mechanisms for processing complex trauma. I have a business coach and mentor who’s a millionaire because she knows better than I do what it takes to get there!

It’s also harder to say, “I don’t wanna,” to your coach than it is to say it to yourself. Because your coach is going to be like, “I didn’t ask if you wanted to… I told you what you need to do to accomplish X.” Dreams without action are just entertainment, Y'all.

What’s a mindset coach?

I can’t speak for everyone out there calling themselves a mindset coach. But for me, I’ll tell you this — I’ve walked through Hell and back and stumbled and misstepped and recovered so that, with any luck and a lot of grit and determination, you won’t have to.

I’ve done the “I Don’t Wanna,” dance with myself and had some fantastic coaches and mentors snap me the fuck out of it and tell me to get down to business.

That’s why my book is finished and ready to launch.

That’s why the Podcast started.

That’s why my website exists.

That’s why I got real with myself about who and what I wanted to be in this world and stopped chasing after the image I had in my mind of what was “supposed” to be.

I’m building a lifestyle that honors my unique needs and limitations, and I’ve let go of what my life was “supposed” to look like at this stage and age. If you’re ready to look at your life from a different perspective and get up off of your excuses and DO some shit, you should fill out my coaching application. I’ll reach out to you after I’ve received your answers and we’ll schedule a free, thirty-minute compatibility call.
