Customized Wooden Bead and Sequin Boards by Kelly Mendenhall and Bradford Howard (Flat Rate)

These bead and sequin boards are especially great for crafting Bucilla projects in one’s lap!

My friend Brad and I came up with this solution together to have an organized way to work with several sequin and bead colors at once. It’s most effective for creating heirloom stockings and ornaments from my medical lift recliner!

I use one constantly to make Plaid Crafts, Bucilla, and MerryStockings embroidery projects. (Shop Plaid Crafts online and use my promo code, Kelly124, to save 15%!)

These pine bead and sequin boards are 12” wide, 7.25” long, and .75” thick. (See photos for reference.)

The 12 ovals are 2 inches by 1.5 inches, and .3/8” deep to hold sequins, seed beads, and findings while you work! And, if you’re a bit clumsy like me, you can bump the tray a bit, you won’t likely send beads and sequins flying everywhere 😉

The working space rectangle is .50 inches deep. Usually, I put the beads and sequins I’m actively using on a project in that rectangle workspace for easy access.

You may choose between a natural wood finish or a wood-burned finish, with stain. Please let us know your preferred color for the felt lining. All of these questions will be answered on the form you’ll fill out at checkout.

This inspired the bead boards we are offering on the site. I bought one from a gal a few years ago on Facebook, but she shut down her Facebook page and Etsy shop and disappeared. After years of friends and fans asking where to get one and not finding anything comparable, I asked Brad to work on a new-and-improved version for me, for the store, and he did!
